Beth Buchholtz, RN, IBCLC
I wear many hats in my life! I am a wife, a mother to 4 breastfed babies, a farmer, a nurse, a childbirth educator, doula, and a lactation consultant! My career as a Lactation Consultant and Childbirth Educator has naturally evolved. As a girl, I was always "baby crazy". I loved babysitting, and developed close relationships with the kids I cared for. After becoming a nurse, I explored different areas of nursing. Soon, I was working with babies and children, and realized how passionate I am about birth, babies, and breastfeeding. I am proud to have made this passion into a profession, and enjoy continuing to expand my knowledge. I love getting new information at Conferences and Workshops. (Including workshops specifically on Tongue Tie, bodywork, and Spinning Babies, just to name a few) I have a strong passion toward babies, birthing, and breastfeeding! I am a member of ILCA, USLCA, Iowa LCA, and a past board member of the Iowa Breastfeeding Coalition. In my free time, I like spending time with my family, and my animals on my hobby farm.
